Algunas veces, no puedo pensar en un titulo!!! Y esta bien porque la mayoria no pueden entenderme!! Weston Poulson 9/17/2016

This week was weird. Like monday through Thursday felt like 10 minutes but Friday through Sunday was like seriously a month haha lets get to it!

Monday we did something.. oh yeah! we went to MILWAUKEE BABY!! haha we stayed at the Spanish A elders apartment last night so we could be to Zone Zonference on time! it was pretty fun! Me and Elder Low had a good long chat as we were going to bed it was funny. I love that kid.
Tuesday we all got ready and went to the car wash cause SLC was coming to update our tiwi's and also check our cars so we got some Armor-all wipes and hit the car wash! we did a really great job if I do say so myself. It was at this moment, I realized that I had left all my study stuff in Lake Mills.. not cool haha so I didn't really have much to share from zone conference other than this, a verse that is one of my favorites of all time and it's John 15:13 “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” I love that scripture. I was kind of thinking about this and how Christ did this for all of us, his friends but president Williams shared a story that I could make for the email and he said "in an interview I was watching online there were two professional skydivers being interviewed. They told a story of what had happened to them and it touched me deeply.

The story goes as follows. They were both in the plane, almost to the altitude that they were going to jump out at getting all prepared. All went well and they jumped out! When it was time to pull the chute, one of the guys' chute failed and didn't deploy. As he pulled his back up, it failed as well. His friend, watched as his buddy struggled to get the chute to work as he was falling to his sure death. His friend, seeing this, tucked into a tight fetal like position and raced to catch his friend. With all he had, he caught up to him and wrapped his legs and arms around him as tight as he could and pulled the chute. A rough landing but they both landed with just bumps and bruises. At this point the interviewer asked the one who saved his friends life "at what point did you think that you were going to have to pull your own chute?" He answered "Either we were both dying or we were both walking out of there." President Williams did a great job at relating this to the atonement but I like rhetorical stuff so I took I it my own way and thought pretty deep about why or who I'd lay my life down for. It was pretty cool and pretty awesome to think how our Savior did that to his billions of billions of friends:)

Also, played some bball and the lady came back with her kids! the one I gave a Book of Mormon too forever ago? Yeah, she's like a third the way done with it. INSANE! we hope she comes back this week. OH and we got a NEW 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA BABY!!! so legit. New car smell and everything. had 33 miles on it.

ANYWAYS! Wednesday, I have no idea what happened haha I think we did some service! YUP! WE DID! I got to climb up the shelving stuff and that was fun! Went to the Simmons then started helping them write their talks for Sunday!

Thursday was weekly planning, it went straight then we went out, did some work and tried to contact some people! I really can't remember I'm sorry! we helped the Cabrera's! Thats what we did haha sorry.

Friday we went to some cities, got a lot of work done, had some people fall through and nobody came to bball so that kinda blew! But not really.. MUEAHAHAH THE LORD HAS HIS WAYS! haha since nobody showed up to bball we decided to take some cool basketball sunset pics then go contact a potential named Gustavo. Lets just say it went well and we got him on a baptismal date for October 29th! Purty awesome!

Saturday was a special day it was the day we got ready for Suuuunnnnday! (did you get it?😂I'm hilarious) haha we went to Whitewater and had some good barbecue chicken sandwiches, I was stoked about that. Sister Stevenson is legit! Also got to translate the Cabrera's talks to english all day cause they wanted it all written out so they could have everything word for word in english. It was kinda fun but my dream that night was just translating talks haha that sucked.

Sunday was pretty good! At church I translated their talks and I guess I was monotone haha that's what elder Burgon said anyways. Idk i just did my job! "you had one job" lol he didn't say that last part, my mind did but it still went good! After we had what is called a "Linger Longer" I thought I had something to do with brats and burgers cause that's what everything has to do with out here but it was just food after church! PULLED PORK BABY! I miss Costa Vida.. good stuff!

Good week, Invite you all to go out and enjoy God's creations! Especially this time of year! All of you are so blessed that you have mountains and rivers and good people around you so go enjoy it! Fall is a great time to do it, so.. DO IT! love you all! HOLD IT DOWN!
