First week in good ole DTWON! FREE MASONS:) Weston Poulson 10/3/2016

Dodgeville is pretty sweet, we live in this tiny duplex on top of this house thing IDK how to explain it but its pretty legit. It's "homey" we'll say. Very small but I like it, and it aint bad!
The Dodgeville branch meets in a Masonic Temple. For those who actually read this, that's a Free Mason meeting house where they like do their thing-idk but its like the coolest building EVER! There are thrones and swords and weapons everywhere just laying down on like display cabinets. The Free Masons said that we were free to touch anything and everything so it was pretty cool. There are two Stuffed Eagles, I got a pic by one. Not to often that you can do that. Also when you walk in you are greeted by George Washington! ...SWEET!
Anyways, it was a pretty big week this week. Monday and Tuesday I said bye to everyone in Lake Mills, I'm gonna miss that ward, that's for sure! Elder Burgon is gonna keep the work going I have full faith in him! I'm gonna miss that kid, that's for sure! We had some fun. But Wednesday we had transfers! Packed up all my crap and went 1 hour to the Milwaukee South Stake center. After that I hopped on the fun bus and went out to Oshkosh. That was another good hour and a half up there. I got to say goodbye to Elder Norris, although I didn't get a picture with him, he's still awesome and I love him even though he didn't email me today:) After that I then hopped in a truck with 5 other elders and we went down to Madison 2 ward building where I met Elder Foster. Then we had a good hour drive out to DODGEVILLE! This area is pretty sweet, I wont lie! Its more "mountainous" (I say that EXTREMELY lightly) then Lake Mills. Like there are legit steep hills for days and I can actually get a view out for more then a couple acres haha I like it! Fall hasn't really set in though:/
Anyways, this week went well!
We have a couple hispanic investigators to work with so I'm stoked!
I'm filling in for Elder Norris here so that is fun too!

This week we had conference and it was pretty sweet. They talked a lot on joy and how we can feel it. As part of this weeks "Wise Words From Wes" I wanna talk a little bit on Elder Rasband's talk. He spoke on how we need to remember our spiritual experiences and not forget them. He quoted D&C 6:22&23, I'd put it on here for yall but id rather have you look it up:)
Bottom line is is the adversary likes to trick us and make us think that we may not have had a spiritual experience or that maybe it was just our thoughts and feelings.
ITS A TRAP! haha don't believe that! Satan wants you to think that and to forget what those were and how they felt in the moment to bring you down and keep you from progressing forward, spiritually so tell him to shut up and get outta dodge! (get it? im in dodgeville:) anyways second half is you never know what kind of example you can be to someone!
I've noticed this throughout my mission and also really recently! I've had a lot of priesthood leaders through my younger years who are now really impacting me as a missionary and helped me. Recently, Elder Neves, or I guess Dallon just finished his mission and is home, all yall gotta go say Hi to him he's legit! He was a great example to a lot of missionaries especially me on how missionaries should work and be so go buy him some authentic Mexican tacos sometime! I'm really grateful for all them and how they have effected me so my wise words are to try and be an example cause no matter what we can be a good or bad example to somebody so be a good one!

Had a good week, kinda got some pics, nothing to cool though but there I did get one by the stuffed eagle in the building haha and also we went down into the basement then further down and found this creepy room with a member named Reed Sandstrom. He's like 15 haha it was fun! Also played tennis with brother Hillgenberg, he's like 70 haha it was fun!

Have a happy week you guys, HOLD IT DOWN!
