So yeah, to kick the week off, last Tuesday we had our last DTM so we took district pictures. We were going to play some bball for our lunch hour but they all bailed so that's why my socks were white! haha I know I'm a goof. you can guess whose idea it was to take a silly picture. Everybody needs a little goof every once in a while, it helps you stop and smell the roses. Also we did "High Priest Day" for the elders and brought some fat ugly ties and some mismatched suit jackets and either tied our ties really long or really short haha it was funny. 
Anyways, we had a good dtm then we started and exchange! I went with Elder Wright, he's the one holding his forehead looking at me in that picture! Kid is super funny, I love him. He is extremely literal and very smart. Takes everything serious and doesn't really catch onto sarcasm which was funny cause when he gave me sarcasm I was so confused haha anyways we had a good exchange! Set a baptismal date with Bob for Nov 5th! Did some service for St. Vinney's and it was a hoot and a half! Had to move a bunch of furniture from around the building in pouring rain, it was fun I have a funny video of Elder Wright.. I'll attach it. "Tilting.." Anyways, me and Wright are pretty good buds now and he's being transferred into my new district so he hasn't seen enough of me yet!!! haha
Don't really remember what happened the rest of the week, but I'll when i attach pictures ahah. OH YEAH! Wednesday night we went to the Simmons for our typical appointment with them and we walked into a Nerf ward between Nava (13 year old boy) and Sister Simmons and immediately joined! Well, lets just say it turned into the whole house joining in, and we turned it into Zombies and there was like a base and all the lights were off with creepy music going haha it was a ton of fun. Nava has a ton of Nerf guns too!
Not much else happened this week, missionary stuff but for my "spiritual thought" or "wise words from wes" whatever you want to call it (I kinda like Wise Words from Wes;) is just to slow down. It may sound weird but seriously just slow down. Smell the roses!! Pay attention to the beauty around you whatever that may be! This world does indeed have a lot of craziness to it but if that's what you focus on then thats what your going to get! I think I already talked about this but its fall. Its football season. Its MLB playoff time. The mountains are BEAUTIFUL right now. Even if you don't like hiking, modern day technology has provided you with a paved road up the mountains and you can go see some of Gods creations! Its pretty amazing when you think about life and how beautiful it really is. We are all loved and cherished so much by our heavenly father so go out and do something that makes you happy! I promise a more positive life invites the spirit into your life.
