Saturday night we had another midnight hospital run. I have become Elder Ambulance! But an elder went to the hospital for some pain in his nether regions. Turns out he had some pretty fun kidney stones but was able to get that all taken care of. We got the call to come pick him up at about 1:00 am. We brought them to the house and went to sleep! Can't say I ever thought I would be doing this during my mission!
Sunday we had two investigators come to church! Mina and her son Eric. I was pretty surprised that Eric came because he hasn't really been in any of our lessons. He's atheist but says he likes our church a lot because it is organized and orderly. The ward did a great job at fellow-shipping them. Almost too good! Mina hardly talks to us at church! Which is great, she has a bunch of friends here now and has come 3 times! The hard part is actually finding time to have a lesson with her. We'll get it though :D
On Monday I made a pretty expensive but tasty mistake! I accidentally scheduled the caterer to make lunch for 90 people for the 5th of September when it really was supposed to be the 12th! So he called me asking if everything was ready at the church and I realized that I told him the wrong dates. He had already made the food so we had him bring a bunch of it to the office and we shared with the other mission's office as well. He took the rest of the food to two zone meetings the next day so, after all, a lot of people love me for my lack of attention to details!
(President didn't kick me out of the office, so I think I'm okay!)
On Wednesday we went to help some new people make bread.

We found them on Sunday and they said we could come help them make a bunch of bread and cakes to sell. We arrived and they couldn't think of anything for us to do so they handed us a big box of bread and told us to go sell it! Mostly to the pulperias, which are little corner stores on every corner. Wut. haha we took the bread, tried to see if the pulperias wanted any. They didn't, a guy on the street wanted one so he bought one. We decided that we really didn't want to sell the bread so we met up with a member at their house and we just bought it all and brought back the box empty! Only cost me about $2 so I think I will survive. It was funny though.
I woke up early to go with President Bush to the police station. He had to do traffic school!! He crashed his car last Sunday and part of paying the fines is sitting through an hour of traffic school. We got there early and a different church was doing a presentation of who they were and had a guy bear his testimony of our Living God. It was fine but he took forever. He spoke for about 30 minutes and had everyone (including us) repeat after him for a prayer. I didn't know if that was okay but President did it so I just followed!
The traffic school was just a 45 minute lecture on defensive driving and other things but really, it was comparing their traffic and police to that of the united states. He asked us several questions and it was really odd. But we did it and got on with our day. I got free Denny's after so I'm happy!

This week I got my shipment from the LDS Store that I ordered about two months ago! I got a mini military set of scriptures and a GIANT book of the teachings of Joseph Smith.
I saw the large text option and thought, meh, why not, and BOOM a huge book shows up! Time to get readin!
Hope you all had a great week, we had a good one! Just a heads up, I have quite a bit less time to write now, which is totally fine, but as a result I may not be able to write each of you back every week. Hope you understand but it will help me and the other missionaries stay focused I think.
Awesome possum. See ya later folks! Dallin
