We Be Dunkin! Weston Poulson 8/29/2016

Dunkin as in baptism! I lost the bounce.. that's not what is important though what is important is that Tiana is baptized and confirmed! Super cool day yesterday, the grandpa, Brother Makua, was raised in hawaii and so we played the guitar for our hymns! pretty hectic and crazy week but it at least ended well and Tiana's baptism is done! Now time to get her brother the priesthood! That will be fun! Something that was amazing about the baptism is I got to have some Sopa Sui. It has different names depending on what island their from but it's just freaking amazing. I remember the first time I had it at the Fifita's house and Ammon told me it was good but man I think I ate like 3 plates that night haha. And at the baptism I didn't hold back either! Good stuff.
We basically just spent the whole week preparing for the baptism, that's kinda how those weeks go. Didn't get out to do a whole lot of contacting so as far as the investigators go its basically the same as last week! but something funny to lighten up your day was our quest to find a 3x white jump suit for the grandpa. All we were told about him was he "is a 6'4" Samoan and big" and when Samoans say big they usually mean BIG. so we spent a good while texting around the Milwaukee south zone and after hours of searching Janesville came up with a 4x somehow! Well, gramps wasn't that big.. haha oh well he still rocked the jump suit!

What else what else.. OH MY GOODNESS MISSION TOUR!! Holy Hanna I totally almost forgot we had Elder Ringwood of the 70 come and also Elder Cordon. It was so awesome and I would share a bunch of stuff with yall but ain't nobody got time for that! I will share one thing, and I'll change it into something you can learn but he said to see our investigators through Christ's eyes and to look at people through the eye of Christ. Kinda my mind on a spin table cause its so true! Not only for missionaries but for other people too! Yall at home, if you look around at people through Christ's eyes it makes driving in traffic a whole lot easier! haha not only that but you can see what people are made of. Everyone is fighting their own battles and it's everybody's job to pick each other up! So.. DO IT! And we are and that's what I love about this world is how much GOOD there is too it! Don't get so caught up like the rest of the world and only look at the bad. I challenge all of you to think about your values for 10 minutes. 10 minutes is very short but it could be what flips your day around into a happy positive way. Think about your passions and spend some time that day or week pursuing it! Promise you all as you put the bad down for a bit and spend some time with these things that the spirit will testify that you are a select son or daughter of god.

Alright sorry to get a little preachy, sometimes my fingers just fly on this keyboard but its whatever! Sunday morning we were going to contact  someone before church and there was a ton of fog! They didn't answer so we did our studies by the lake. Kinda turned into a photo shoot haha but look how cool this is! sooo peaceful felt like it was the vail right in front of me.

Anyways I'll attach some pictures of the week! Got to see Elder Neves,Elder Norris, DeSantis and Reina at mission tour so that was sweet! yall have a good week!

HOLD IT DOWNNNNN!
~Elder Poulson
