Hey there guys and gals,
As far as investigators go we had a lesson on Lehi's dream on Wednesday with Maribel. She loved it! But she definitely has other doubts. So we're gonna keep on helping her!
Elder Correa, our immigration secretary
was ordered from the doctor to stay in bed for 5 days due to something
with his legs and veins. So we have been taking turns staying at home
with him. On Thursday after lunch it was my turn and I decided to de-junk
the house we live in. I cleaned for a good 8 hours straight. I called
the guy that machetes our lawn and we made a deal that he would do our
lawn for free next time ($40) for a bunch of broken fridges and bed
frames! I organized our living room and the house has a whole new feel
now. I got rid of SO MUCH STUFF. Yesterday I also stayed and kept going.
I cleaned refrigerators (stuff that expired years ago) and threw out a
ton of old broken things that were in the house. (Fans and house phones
and junk). This morning a family with a horse and wagon came by and we
flagged them down and they took it all. They collect trash and look
through it for good stuff to recycle.
Anyways, point of the story is that the house we are in now is a house of order! D&C 109:8
Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing, and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God;
Last
night it rained and the power went out. It was still really hot so we
decided to have a slumber party downstairs where it was a bit cooler.
Woke up to a bunch of light and noise when the power came on at 2am but
at least we could use fans!
And for pday we are just chilling today, I may or may not have bought a ukulele to try and learn some hymns.
Bubbye now,
