No Scars. No Stories. Weston Poulson 8/8/16

Well, this week wasn't bad! A lot of mean things said and doors slammed in our face but aye, that why I'm called here cause it doesn't mean a thing! haha anyways this one could be short or long, I don't really know until it's over so.. YEAH! lets hop into it!

Monday, we went back to the Wehrhauns and stacked some hay! Let me say this... I LOVE FARM LIFE! I could haul hay all day long, actually I find it fun! Hard work has started to feel that way for me now, and laboring hard is just awesome. So if anyone back home needs help hauling hay when I'm home, just give me a ring I'm so ready!! Ate some really good pizza and had a good time talking hunting again☺

Tuesday we had DTM and that was "good" haha typical! District Training Meeting but I'm not mad, gets me out of the area for a bit and I get to see some new stuff so I'm good for it!

Wednesday we got to do some service and destroy some couches! That was fun for the first five minutes but it was like 95 with 75% humidity and man.. got old but we got it done!

Throughout the rest of the week, we tried getting back in contact with our investigators on date but couldn't catch any of them! Good news is that Tiana will be baptized on the 27th so that's pretty exciting!

Saturday we helped Tommy Stevenson move to college! Man, he had a bunch of stuff! He's moving OUT and taking it all with him! He's saying see ya momma! haha I'll attach a photo of a truck we filled with his stuff and box's but we also filled a mini van and a 2 cars. I love moving people, it's great.

We mostly just knocked doors this week! Not a whole lot of crazy stuff happened so I'm just gonna leave ya with something that seemed to come up a lot this week and that was how trials make us stronger. Listened to a couple talks on Sunday night and also one this morning on some goof uplifting stuff but one I really liked was called "Rough Start, Great Finish" by John Bytheway and its really good! Shares some examples of people with amazing stories and success and how they all had a rough start to begin but by the end of their lives, they were Successful and amazing. Pretty great talk, I invite you all to listen to it! I took some good stuff out of it and one thing that came to my head is that if you see someone with no scars, I'll show you someone with no stories.

That was just a thought I had and then a little bit later I heard him quoting Brigham Henry Roberts (Look up his story, its amazing) and he said
"What is progression? -Overcoming difficulty.
Those who have the most difficulties, develop the greatest souls."

That really stuck with me and its something to remember through our trials that as long as we trust God and hold onto that trust, that we will emerge better and stronger than before and that is my testimony!

Love you all, have a great week! Hold it down!
