Monociclo Dallin Poulson 8/20/2016

This week was pretty eventful! Bunch of odd stuff haha! Let's jump right in!
On Sunday during lunch we were eating with some members and the grandma was there. She had recently gone to visit Israel with her daughter (because she married a muslim man I think) and the war got really bad. They were there for a month and she told us how they would see the missiles coming in and how other missiles would go and hit the incoming ones. The stories were incredible!

Later on Sunday we had divisions in our area and we were able to work with two companionships in our area. We had a bunch of good contacts and talked to some great people. One lady was super atheist and the guy next door jumped right into talking about polygamy! Fun stuff! It was a great day and we taught a couple new people. (Finished the night having awesome hamburgers)

On Monday I was chosen to drive the mission presidents and their wives to the airport. Lots of pressure when you have two mission presidents watching how you drive! Especially here! It turned out okay though, I don't think they got too scared! haha

Monday I went with Elder Olsen to deliver a table to a farther area of our mission. On the way back we were going down the highway and all of the sudden our truck-bed cover caught some wind and exploded and flew off the truck! REALLY far! We had to flip a U and we found it in the ditch. Pretty lucky that no one was around that's for sure!

My trainer, Elder Hadley and his group finished their mission this week. Everyone that finishes stays their last night at our house because we have a lot of beds and it's easier that way. So I got to hang out with him and he gave me a ton of stuff he wasn't going to take with him! Score! I drove them to the airport. Definitely a baggy/trunky time! haha but it was good.

Last night we had a great first lesson with a lady in the rich part of our area. Her name is Diana and she understood it all. Which really is an accomplishment! Feels good when you teach clearly, that's for sure.

The best part of the week (and maybe my mission) was that I got to ride a UNICYCLE yesterday. We saw some street performers and decided to go contact them. They let me ride it! I am pretty rusty but I will upload a video! Good photo as well! We gave them a Book of Mormon and some pamphlets!

Love you guys, keep fighting the good fight!  Dallin
