Wes volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul's store
Well this week was pretty interesting thats for sure! Did some good work and Fiana will be baptized this saturday so that's pretty awesome!
Monday, we just went to the Cabrera's and rode some bikes around after pday it was pretty fun, that family is so awesome! He wants to come hunting with me when i get home so we'll see how that goes!
Tuesday was pretty interesting, we were tracting at an apartment building and the first two doors went pretty great! They both gave us return appointments and then the third door a guy named Kevin answered. He's like 6'3" and like 250. We could tell he wasn't totally there when we started talking to him but that doesn't matter, we still taught him! It was going well and i was teaching him the first vision when all of the sudden he looked mad at me. His eyes were at the top of his head and he started leaning towards me. At first i thought he was mad until he went full
boneless and collapsed in our laps! He passed out! I knew his mental state wasn't the best so we turned him on his side just in case he threw up or something then prepared for the worst haha i was ready to call 911 and elder Burgon had me knocking on the neighbors door for help when in the middle of all of this we just see his eyes come to life and he's like "...I'M OKAY" and we were like, you good? Let's take you to your bed so we did! haha It was funny! Also went to the Wehrhauns but we didn't get to haul hay but we did get to play with their new chocolate lab puppy! She bites a lot but i loved it.
Tried to get in contact with a lot of people, ended up meeting a guy named Angel on the street. I never pass an opportunity to talk to hispanic people so i did and we got a return appointment and for the first time ever he called us and told us he couldn't make it and that we would have to reschedule!! YEAHHH! I'm happy cause that means he actually cares so that will be awesome!
Friday we played ball and it was fun! Had Dan there with his son, we did service for St. Vinneys and he used to work there. Then we took a cool hood pic, It's not centered but aye we all fall short!
Saturday the ward and a pool party and we went and played sand volleyball! pretty fun, It was just chilly for everyone to swim so it worked well for us as missionaries! It really cooled off for us Saturday and Sunday was amazing! We went and saw Pat and just sat in the sun because it was in the 70 with a breeze. Pretty sweet and it went along well with the opening weekend of the bow hunt! Speaking of, i want some hunting pictures! i better get some from yall!
